For the purpose of determining the size of the minimum pension, regional authorities must approve the living wage of a pensioner for 2021 by September 15, 2020.
They are obliged to do this by paragraph 4 of Article 4 of Federal Law No. 134-FZ of December 24, 1997 “On the subsistence minimum in the Russian Federation.”
